hello friends

okay so the challenge was meant to be to draw something I wish to share with my followers

i didn't rly know what to share

so i wanted to "share" a drawing of what i thought I've improved on the most in terms of drawing this year, which is girls!! also POC

anyway sooooo let's have a bit of a retrospective of the year for me:

- I started this sketch a day challenge after seeing corenthals S.A.D's

- I moved out for the greater part of the year with some friends, though in the end I did have to move back with my mother, it was an experience

- I started an internship at a design firm and subsequently was offered some contracting work for them which was a huge and great opportunity for me

- I finished uni, finally, after... quite a few years studying, on and off, part time and full time ha ha ha

- ????? 

- ??

anyway that's about it then!!

I plan to do another S.A.D/S.A.W/S.A.M challenge next year but I'm not sure if I'll keep it up like I didn't this year ahha

I didn't rly attempt to draw a room cos I'm no good with that stuff lmao so I started (tracing) the batcave from TDK to redo it but then nah I gave up then did a spider-gwen to make up for it

I WILL probably attempt the next challenge though which is to draw my favourite weather so... we'll see how that goes

todays challenge was to draw my favourite scene from a movie

so ive attempted this particular challenge but i wasnt able to produce something i was happy with, spoiler alert: I wanted to draw something from interstellar, and cos I wasn't able to I just cheated my way out with thsi scene from terminator 2 :))))

it's not very detailed but honestly I've spent more time on what I was attempting than I have in like the past 2 months.

anyway next challenge is to draw "a room"...

i have no idea how im gonna do that

after that is my "favourite weather "

hahahahah this is such a dumb post

so i was wrong about this challenge being drawing my fave scene from a movie, its actually draw my favourite sweet food hahaha

so i picked dippin dots but did my usual make it more abstract so i mixed it with the worst superhero of all time and Korra, which just ended last week (though i'm kinda eh abt some things I did rly like the show altogether)

anyway the years nearly ended oh god i better hurry up with the updates!!

Tpdays challenge was to draw something from mythology so naturally i picked a comic book character in a more abstract way and chose Thor wearing normal clothes and not at all looking like apart of mythology at all ahahah

Todays challenge was to draw something that represents my favourite culture... so again I went a more abstract route and chose "pop culture" with a picture of Kyary lmao ayyy in that levitating girl pose.

I drew like 2 other things before I did this because I couldn't achieve what I wanted to draw so I went with a more simpler style ha h a haha.

It's not an apt representation of pop culture but I didn't wanna spend more time on this so THERE.

The next challenge is to draw someone or something from mythology so lesseeee what I do for that.

Todays challenge was to draw something that makes me happy, so I drew:

Brienne of Tarth representing Game of Thrones, tho really it's just Brienne

and Walter White representing Breaking Bad heehhe

I tried to do a handful of styles here because I've been slacking with the S.A.D's but honestly this took me like 2 days to do, whooops.

I actually really like my Walter White one, I hope to develop that style a bit more and make it easier for me lmao

Anyway the next challenge is to draw something that represents my favourite culture, so I wonder what that could be?!?

Hopefully I can do 7 more S.A.D's before the end of the year!!

After 2 weeks I finally have updated with todays challenge: draw a comic

Okay so if u know the reference then thumbs up for you but if u dont then u i wont spoil it

Anyway for some context for some reason I've been drinking every night for no reason i've just been drinking alcohol (i don't get drunk) and last night my housemates and I bought some jack daniels and we still have a lot left over so I went to grab the bottle for a small drink (honest) and my housemate was like WHY ARE YOU DRINKING!? and that was my excuse ehehhehe ... so this is a true story.

IMA STOP DRINKING I SWEAR... 

Anyway the next challenge is to draw something I don't like... so almost everything? Ha ha ha...

nah probably some trash shit like SAO.

I don't really know what to talk about in this update... I'm just working part time/casually and am doing my last trimester of uni for the next 3 months... 

Smash Bros comes out next week? So does Korra? I also have my driving test in 2 weeks...

I hope to update more i know I've been lazy but drawing a comic was an especially hard thing to do.

todays challenge was to draw a couple and what better OTP than Bats and WW?

Truly my fave pairing in DC just because it makes so much sense... there's a bit of a redesign with WW because I don't really like ner normal costume and this aint particularly good but I do like the skirt design.

You can tell my linework got lazier but it's more actually cos I don't do really nice line art so by making it look rougher makes it look better ha ha ha

Anyway the next challenge is to draw something I'm afraid of...

todays challenge was to draw my favourite holiday... and since i don't ever really celebrate anything i just chose halloween cos even though that's not a proper holiday it's a good time no alcohol required

so since I was doing a halloween themed draw I did the addams family.. sort of... mostly Wednesday Addams cos I've been drawing dudes too often.

so i havent drawn something in over a week, though to be honest i started these draws last week, I couldnt be bothered doing anything substantial with them as you know how lazy I am

the theme was to draw something the represents my fave song, I have a few fave songs but I chose:

The Ghost Of You by MCR which you should definitely check out even if you don't like them cos the music video is hella cool

Only the first pic really... "represents" the song but it doesn't really show it. The MV decpits WWII so I tried to draw army related Gerard but well... it doesn't show

todays challenge was to draw my favourite game character and so I picked Link cos he's my little babu.

nothing else really to it, I just think Links a p cool guy.

The second pic is unrelated but Ben, Laura, Alvin and I made some nerdy superhero backstories for ourselves and I drew Laura who drew me (I'm a cyborg dude). She's a blood shaman and this is what I came up with ah ha ha however boring it may look.

In other news I just finished interning and some rly good news came out of it and so I'm actually in a really ((((positive vibe)))) right now and I don't need people bringing me down yo

I guess what I can say is that I'm working there now as an actual employee but I'm not full time but it's something so YELL HEAH.

Todays challenge was to draw something I've never drawn before, so I threw in a bunch of things I don't think I've drawn before... very rough, very eh but that's the best I could do. I've never drawn Charles Xavier before ha ha ha so that's why he's there. I do like the mouse and hotdog i drew tbh ha ahah but only because i put extra effort into them...

I am back after 3 days...

Because I am exhausted every time I have my internship I cannot do my S.A.D's on those days, but alas I am back as today I am not doing my internship.

Also on Saturday there's going ot be a party I must attend so probably no draw on Sat :c

Todays challenge was to draw my favourite outfit... it didn't specify whether it was my own clothes or superheroes or anything, so I did a bit of both...

You can see I did Superior Spider-Man's costume (it's really a tie with the original costume tbh), Chibi Batman (New Adventures of Batman & Robin suit) and funny faced Twilight Princess Link.

The next challenge is to draw something I've never drawn before... oh god I wonder what that could be...

after... a month... of not updating... gomen... but to be fair i didn't have my wacom pen for like 2 weeks

I'm going to try and update daily again, as best as I can, and so for ideas I'm going to be participating in this drawing challenge for 30 days

This first challenge is to draw yourself or your persona, so obviously i drew myself... but ofc much more handsome... this took me like double the length i thought it would, I didn't realise how rusty i was at drawing, I can't even get face shapes right.

Tomorrows challenge is to draw someone I like, whether it be a celebrity, crush or s/o so that shall be fun... which celeb shall i draw hmmm...

in other news I'm rewatching Game of thrones from the very first season... I realised how little information I've retained... all the little plot details ha ha ha.

No really, that game has a really fun battle system with customizable attack paths so it's really fun and quite cheap too!

sorry that todays draw is really just scrap stuff - I mean it's always scraps but today in particular.

I watched Godzilla on Tuesday, I didn't hype it up too much but I was still overall disappointed with the end result. Sometimes fun and somewhat satisfying moments but there's a lot of missed potential in it and particularly with the way they go about the human story... ah well.

in random news, I actually started an internship over the last week, which should last about 3 months oh lord... I'm worried that I'm a slow worker without any good ideas but we'll see how it goes.

I'm going to watch Godzilla on tuesday so hopefully that's good... mayhaps some godzilla draws in the coming days.

anyway, I'm supposed to be up before 830am tmr which is really hard for me but ugh gotta suck it up sometimes.
